House Tour

Here it is finally! Our very own house! Hope you enjoy the tour...

I forgot to show that we don't have a drain beneath our sink in our kitchen, so we put buckets under the "drain" and have to empty them regularly. It's always fun when we forget and they accidently overflow! One of the workers at the SAO was so generous to help run piping into our kitchen so that we can at least run the washer and have water flow into the sink.

Also, I was bummed that you can't see the kittens in the video, so here's another video of them that a took a couple of nights ago...so cute! Sadly though, veterinary care and animal control is virtually non-existent here, especially in small villages. My fear is that if we were to "domesticate" them, they wouldn't stand a chance after we leave because cats around here definitely fend for themselves. So, we just leave the window in the kitchen open and let the mama cat come and go and hope that the kittens will grow up and be able to survive on their own. (I had a dream last night that the La Plata County Humane Society took them in and found homes for them. Miss you guys so much and am so thankful for the amazing work you do every day!!!)
